IFB Conference Pack-List
So, we're all headed to the IFB Evolving Influence Conference, right? Are you wondering what to bring to the conference? I was thinking the same thing. So, below is a little list of the things you should bring with you to the Hudson Hotel!
Your laptop-Live streaming is so imperative to being active on the IFB stream. People are going to want to know what's going on at the conference since they can't attend. I also like seeing what other people are saying in the same place I am. It's interesting to see others views of what's going on.
Your iPhone/Smart Phone/iPad-It's the best way to have accessibility at all times. You can update your twitter, twitpic something funny to post, and stay connected to all the bloggers you'll be meeting (exchange numbers and all!).
Your camera-This is so vital to all the posts you'll be creating. People want to know what everyone is wearing, what the venue looks like, all that great stuff. Having your camera handy, whether it be a DSLR or point and shoot, could separate a good post from a not so good post.
Your business cards-I've gone so many places where I've forgot my cards and completely regretted it the moment someone asked me for one. This is key, if not, the most important thing. You're here to learn and network people! So bring out those bad boys and pass them out like candy!
Layers-The venue is air-conditioned so I would suggest bringing a cardigan or something to layer up with. Also, since the conference turns into the party right after, dress in a day to night look :)
Snacks-There will be food & drinks so don't worry about that. However, if you are a snacker like me, pack a bag of trail mix just in case you need a quick snack!
