Wait. But let's just talk about that first image though. Like, just stare at it. ELK GOODNESS IN MY MOUTH. Holy mother of nature.

I was so kindly contacted by Kitchensurfing - a website dedicated to giving you restaurant experience without leaving your home. I just about died when I found out that NOLA-raised Chef Ryan Rondeno was going to come cook for me! I invited over my favorites + my roommate and dined on the most ridiculously delicious grub, including:

Wild Boar, Butternut squash gnocchi, fried poached egg, sage
Spiced Elk, Pumpkin, cipollini onion, Cabernet-Black Currant Reduction
Coconut Panna Cotta, Raspberry-Black pepper sorbet, Passion Fruit

Is your mouth watering yet? Yeah, I know right?

I loved that my friends and I could just chill at the table, watching Chef Ryan cook and playing matchmaker on Tinder and reviewing men on Lulu. Yeah, we did that. I just loved that I could host people at my home and actually engage with them rather than being stuck preparing food, which I don't mind. It was just totally nice to have a break.

Honestly, it's the perfect gift for an anniversary present or a great way to throw a party at your house. I was so, so impressed with Chef Ryan and was so pleased with the experience. And if your totally hands-on, the chefs are totally down to teach you and give you an even better experience which I freaking died for. Now I now how to make gnocchi!

Thank you team Kitchensurfing
