MOOD: BALLS TO THE WALL
Lately, I've been feeling like a bit of a bad ass so channeling Cher from Clueless, Salt & Pepa & my mom have all been motivation for my wardrobe these days. Can you tell?
It's hard to read but my necklace reads, "Balls to the Wall" which is extremely suiting for my personality and my lifestyle. Go hard or go home kids. I picked this up from on my favorite boutiques in Soho, In God We Trust. If you haven't been, fail on you. If you can't get there, go online. It's a wondrous place, the interweb. It's one of the greatest shops because it's sassy without being in your face. Perfect for getting away with in the workplace. Wink wink.
Another obsession I'm having lately is pairing citron with either navy or strawberry red. There's nothing about that, that makes sense but somehow there's something about this combination of colors that's got my non-existent underroos in a bunch. In a good way. First of all, citron is by far one of the most popular colors this season [Finally- I feel like it's been existing for way too long, not to be cool]. My immediate reaction of my favorite color is to make it more accessible in my wardrobe. There's only so many ways you can make it a "subtle" piece. So boom, bang, boom, citron paired with awesome colors. For the win? Most def.
