T'WERK IT SERIES: I LIVE IN THE CLOUDS IN MY LITAS
When I say I have an obsession with these American Apparel chiffon blouse tunics, I mean I truly do! I'm adding a new one all the time and I wear one almost every day. One top of that, my brother has introduced me to the American Apparel outlet store! Everything I'm getting now at the AA outlet is at least 40% off. Oh yes, please. While I was at the outlet, I picked up this sweater shawl I've been craving to get but couldn't justify the price. There, it was no big deal-an easy purchase!
The best part about these blouses is that they are so versatile. If you want to be conservative, you layer. If you want to be sexy, you wear your best looking demi bra like the photo above. If you want to be Wednesday Addams for Halloween, add white cuffs. :)
Technically, since this post is part of the T'werk It Series, here is the t'werked part. I wore this calf length skirt before here, but as you can tell, it's not as tight. With the overwhelming silhouette with the blouse and sweater I've paired it with above, I decided to knot the skirt to create a tighter shape on my bottom half. All I did was twist the fabric in the back under my bum to create a bustle-you can see some of it in the last photo. It's one of the easiest ways to tighten anything without actually altering it. Although, I feel this skirt should be altered to satisfy my needs but can't justify the alternation price vs. the actual price of the skirt: $1.99. YA.
The Lita boots are everywhere, all bloggers know but I honestly can not get enough of these bad boys. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, I've worn them almost every day since I got them (minus the two days I moved) and I could care less how "trendy" they are. I practically live in the clouds with these. I FREAKING love them.
