We all know what the truth is. We feel it every time the phone rings, we know what he really means even if we don't want to admit it; Women, we have intuition. Unfortunately, because women were built to be emotional creatures, we can't help but feed into that trait.

Women are never wrong. We know what your doing…most cases, we're too scared to lose you to do anything about it. Let me speak from experience. It's called Four Years Wasted Lesson Learned

A lot of us put the emotional goggles on. We see what we want to see; but deep down, we know what's really going on. Love is a crazy emotion, embedding in our DNA. We treat it variably. It depends on how we were raised, what we went through, and how we dealt with love in other ways. Love blinds us. That's not just a fable. Love blinded me for four and a half years, preventing me to see what I knew in my heart what was going on.

The moral is to really listen to yourself. You know. You know in your heart, your head, your mind, your spirit, what the truth is. It doesn't matter what anyone says. You know. All the nights you lay awake questioning yourself; all the moments you look at him as he gets text after text after text after text; all the hours going by that he was supposed to call/see you and never shows for me. Those, you KNOW, are the head signals telling you the truth.

We women, we're smart. We are wise and intuitive. But for most of us, we use it in every situation but our relationships. I don't know about any of you, but I've changed from that lesson. I've become the woman I've aspired to me; that strong, wise, knowledgeable woman, that I ignored for four years. Listen to yourself. You know.

Images via Fashion Gone Rogue-This spread really spoke to me. The colors, her demeanor, everything about it really sold me on the aspects of women. I want to get this blown up and printed to put up in my new future apartment...wherever that may be.
