vintage baggy knit sweater, no label; Static on Haight | stuffed animal coat; gift from grandpa | wedges; Jeffrey Campbell | Etched leather bag; Monserat De Lucca | leopard umbrella; Gap

I couldn't wait for Spring, I just had to break out one of my new pieces. This has got to be one of my most cherished pieces yet. The shape is my favorite; I love the slouch it creates on my body. Although for Spring, I have a completely different and new way to wear it but you'll see come April/May. I'm so excited to start wearing it that way too.

For this look, it's best achieved when the rest of your silhouette isn't as voluminous. Hence the tights. I wore my stuffed animal coat because it was freezing in the city and I layered my knee-highs with my tights but it's cool. Also, I opted for a more chunky shoe to balance out the look. I think it looks fantastic...and I'm definitely not a color person. P.S. I scored this at Static on Haight in SF for like $5...got to love a good vintage find.

Don't forget guys, the contest is still going on so keep posting your comments. I love reading why you guys want the hat! You have until February 1st, 2010.

xx.
