COLLABORATION + CREATION
We collaborated with local leaders in health/wellness to bring to life a virtual variety show in the times of COVID and partnered with Black LA store employees to share their experiences. We partnered with two local leaders — Thalia Ayres Randolph, a breathworker and healer, and Andre Power, co-founder of Soulection and DJ, to curate talent for our virtual show experience. We also partnered with HRDWRKER, our production partner for both directing and editing all content and the show experience. Additionally, we developed two content pieces to continue our storytelling by way of 1) a video visual of poetry and movement featuring our local store teams — “We Are American History” and 2) a featurette highlighting Ron Holden, photographer and co-founder of Ride For Black Lives, a bike movement across LA supporting Black Lives Matter.
