You kids follow me on Instagram right? All I do is insta food shots. I can't help it and all you pretty kitties have been asking for me to start posting my recipes. Guess what? You got it.
You all know I love to cook, especially for friends. Lydia and Laura came over for a nice girl's day. Sometimes those are more than needed. They are absolutely necessary. Brunch was in order alongside mimosas and hilarious conversation.
Potato, Sausage and Spinach Hash w/ Runny Eggs
Ingredients: Whatever you have in your fridge. I had red potatoes, gruyere and garlic chicken sausage, spinach, red pepper flakes, onions, bell peppers, eggs and garlic.
Directions: Sautéed onions, bell peppers, garlic and red pepper flake in a pan with olive oil. Get that shit nice and translucent. Add your sliced sausage to get those juices flowin'. When the sausages have those crispy edges, add your red potatoes in the pan with your necessary amount of S&P. Add a touch of vegetable broth (to let it steam) and close the lid. Let steam for 20 minutes until your tatoes are soft. Add two big ass handfuls of spinach to the pan and wilt that shit. So. Good.
Take your pan off the heat and let it sit while your friends' mouths water. Cook an egg to your friend's desired taste. Runny eggs make a great sauce. Just sayin'. Add on top to a heaping pile of hash and serve. Your friends will die. Oh, also a glass of vodka with a shot of OJ. Obviously.
