LOVE, LUST, LIFE SERIES: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE UNFAITHFUL?

lara-beauty4

What does the word, FAITH, mean to an individual? Does that bring up religious views? Does that bring forth adulterated incidents? Does that mean a stronger belief in one thing than another?

Faith can be used in multiple circumstances throughout our lives. When I think of faith, I think of the faithfulness to another person, be it a friend or partner. I believe that most people want someone who will remain faithful to their significant other and their circle of friends. However, why does it seem that it is, by far, the hardest thing for a human being to do-stay faithful.

Does faith mean that you put trust that person? Or does it mean that you wholeheartedly believe that, that person will stay committed? Is believing trusting? Who is the one to define these terms? Is it delving into something too deep? Or are relationships "just supposed to be easy"?

How many have heard that phrase before? "This is just supposed to be easy!" I've heard that time and time again. It has to be one of the most used phrase I've heard in my relationships-and I admit, I've said it, on the accord to make someone and myself feel better. Staying faithful, having faith in someone-that is NOT an easy thing to do. You have to consciously have that person in your mind to prevent any indiscretions. It doesn't mean paranoia; just an awareness of the people you love. I feel the line is so thin already, so crossing it is just way too easy.

Why so many questions regarding this issue right? Agreed. When I started writing this post, that's all that came to mind-unanswered questions. But to sum it all up, staying faithful is complex in its' entirety- strong, wise, independent, and persevering. Whether your faith is in your spirituality, in your relationships or in your friendships, utilizing these traits could bring peace to having faith.
